Tigers Spotted at Human Habitation in Munnar

In a rare occurrence, three tigers were spotted at a human habitation at Kannimala top in Munnar. The tigers were noticed by a police officer who was on polling duty in the area. It was observed that a mother tiger and two cubs were moving along the borders of a tea plantation. Despite efforts by the Forest department, including a drone search conducted from April 26 onwards, the tigers could not be located.

Officials suspect that the tigers may have moved to another area. The Forest department has issued warnings to the public to avoid venturing out at night to prevent any casualties. They are closely monitoring the situation and have deployed a team to ensure the safety of the residents in the area.
