In a devastating incident, a 44-year-old construction worker, identified as Chidambaram, met with a fatal accident while carrying out repairs at his home in Neelankarai. The mishap occurred when Chidambaram was using a cutting machine to work on a plastic drum, which accidentally fell and inflicted a severe injury to his neck.
