Tragic Lightning Strike Claims Lives of Brothers in Karnataka

In a heartbreaking incident in Karnataka’s Shivamogga district, two brothers, Beeru (32) and Suresh (30), lost their lives on Wednesday after being struck by lightning. The tragic event unfolded at Hunasakatte junction in Bhadravathi town while the brothers were in their paddy fields. They had gone to protect the ready-for-harvest paddy crop when the fatal lightning strike occurred.

The bodies of the victims have been moved to Bhadravathi government hospital, and the local authorities, including Bhadravathi Rural police, have initiated an investigation into the incident. The unfortunate event serves as a poignant reminder of the risks faced by individuals engaged in agricultural activities, especially during adverse weather conditions.
