Transgender Community in Uttar Pradesh Celebrates Ahead of Ram Temple Opening

The transgender community in Uttar Pradesh, particularly in Ayodhya, is experiencing a sense of joy and celebration ahead of the opening of the Ram temple. Pinky Mishra, the President of the Kinnar Samaj in Ayodhya district, highlighted the community’s historical connection with Lord Ram, emphasizing their role in celebrating his birth and expressing devotion.

The tradition of offering blessings and accepting ‘neg’ (offering) has persisted since Lord Ram’s return from exile. Members of the transgender community express their happiness at witnessing the development and transformation of Ayodhya under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who is dedicated to the city’s progress. The community eagerly anticipates an invitation from the Trust overseeing the temple for the historic occasion.
