TVK Leads in Thousand Lights Seat
Vote counting is currently underway in Kerala for the 140-seat State Assembly, where 71 seats are required to secure a majority and form the next government.
According to the latest trends, the United Democratic Front (UDF) is performing strongly and is currently leading in enough seats to cross the majority mark if the trend continues.
The UDF has a total tally of 81 seats so far, including 7 seats already won and leads in 74 more constituencies. This puts the alliance in a strong position to potentially form the next government in Kerala.
Meanwhile, the ruling Left Democratic Front (LDF) is trailing significantly behind with a total of 39 seats, including 2 seats won and leads in 37 others.
Other political parties and independent candidates are collectively leading in 20 seats across the state.
These trends suggest a possible major political shift in Kerala, with the UDF gaining a clear advantage over the LDF. If the current numbers remain stable, Kerala could witness a change in government.
However, counting is still in progress, and the final election outcome will only be confirmed after all votes are counted. Political leaders, candidates, and voters across Kerala are closely watching the evolving results.
