World Circular Economy Forum 2026 Begins in Gandhinagar

The World Circular Economy Forum (WCEF) 2026 has begun in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, bringing together experts, policymakers, business leaders and environmental representatives from around the world to discuss sustainable economic development.

The event is being held in South Asia for the first time. Union Minister Bhupender Yadav and Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel are set to inaugurate the forum.

This year’s conference is being held under the theme “Circular Economy: Transition for People and Prosperity.” The discussions will focus on ways to reduce waste, use resources more efficiently and create economic growth while protecting the environment.
