UGC NET, CSIR NET Answer Keys This Week, Says Testing Agency

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the provisional answer keys for several important national-level examinations this week. The exams include UGC NET, CSIR NET, ICAR AIEEA PG and AICE PhD 2026.

The answer keys will help candidates check the answers they selected in the examinations and estimate their possible scores before the final results are announced.

UGC NET Answer Key

The UGC NET 2026 examinations were conducted from June 22 to July 5 on different dates across various examination centres.

Once the provisional answer key is released, candidates will be able to download it in PDF format. They will also be able to view their recorded responses and the question papers they attempted.

If candidates believe that an answer given in the provisional key is incorrect, they will have an opportunity to raise an objection through the official online portal.

Candidates should submit objections within the given deadline. They may also have to pay a prescribed fee for each question they challenge.

CSIR NET Answer Key

The CSIR NET 2026 examination was conducted on July 17 and 18. The examination is important for candidates seeking eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Assistant Professor positions and PhD admissions in universities and colleges across India.

The examination covers several major science subjects, including:

  • Life Sciences
  • Mathematical Sciences
  • Physical Sciences
  • Chemical Sciences
  • Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences

Candidates will be able to check their responses against the provisional answer key once it is released.

ICAR AIEEA PG

The NTA also conducts the ICAR AIEEA PG, a national-level entrance examination for students seeking admission to postgraduate programmes in agriculture and related subjects.

The examination provides candidates with an opportunity to compete for admission to various agricultural and allied science programmes.

The provisional answer key will allow candidates to check their performance and raise objections if they find any incorrect answers.

AICE PhD Examination

The AICE-JRF/SRF (PhD) examination is another important examination conducted by the NTA. It is used for admission and fellowship opportunities in doctoral programmes related to agricultural sciences and other areas.

Candidates who appeared for the examination will also be able to check the provisional answer key and their recorded responses.

Objection Process

The provisional answer key is not the final answer key. Candidates will be given a limited period to raise objections if they believe that any answer is incorrect.

After reviewing the objections and supporting evidence submitted by candidates, the examination authorities may make necessary changes to the answer key before preparing the final results.

Candidates should carefully check the official instructions before submitting an objection.

Candidates Should Check Official Updates

The release of the answer keys is an important step before the declaration of results. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official NTA website and official notifications for the exact release date, objection window, fees and other instructions.

Students should also keep their application number, password or other login details ready so they can access their response sheets and answer keys without difficulty.

The provisional answer keys will give candidates an early idea of their performance while they wait for the final results and further admission or fellowship-related updates.
