The Hajiali juice center, a fast food and juice joint, was started in 1973 in Mumbai inside the shrine of the Saint Haji Ali. The joint kicked off so well and there has been no looking back since then. It is known to be the favorite hang out of Mumbai. As their business got bigger, they opened two outlets in Dubai. And now…. they are in Chennai!

This outlet has been started by Mr. Uzair who is basically into metals and real estate business. So what inspired this metal man to jump into this business?? Uzair says, “Hajiali juice center is a massive hit in Mumbai for decades, not just for a year or two. If it is no.1 in Mumbai, then it is like no.1 in India. We are basically from Chennai and we wanted to open it here and this should be a good addition to Chennai.

The juice center offers a wide variety of juice and milk shakes, faloodas, fruit cream, soft drinksand quick snacks like burgers, French fries, sandwiches, pizzas, and rolls. The must try ones at Hajiali is Kesar Citaphal cream which is creamily delicious, Ganga jamuna sarawati(orange, musambi, pine apple) and dry fruit falooda which is very rich in taste. Their chef’s recommendations are chickoo cream, mango cream, strawberry cream, haji ali special sandwich, schezwan veg cheese grill and many more. They also have Jain quickies like Jain pizzas and sandwiches.

And all this is available at very reasonable rates! The snacks start with Rs.25 for chutney grill and go upto Rs.130 for Hajiali special pizza. The juice starts from Rs.25 and goes up to Rs.100 for fruit cream and Rs.110 for special faloodas. What makes them different is the quality of juice and food they have been serving says the proud owner.

The black and white interiors are pretty good. They have very inviting couches that could make one sit back for hours together. They have an open work area which surely indicates confidence in the quality service that they render. The outlet has sufficient car parking space which is an added advantage and not to miss the home delivery system.

Just two weeks old, this joint has been attracting a lot of crowd. Chennai’s surely getting colder and colder with such joints.
