Modi Condemns UAE Attacks, Assures Support

Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke on Sunday night, March 1, 2026, with the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. During the phone call, Mr. Modi strongly condemned the recent attacks on the Gulf nation and expressed India’s full support for the UAE during this difficult time.

The Prime Minister said that India stands in solidarity with the people and leadership of the UAE. He stressed that violence and instability affect not only one country but the entire region. Mr. Modi also underlined the importance of maintaining peace and stability in West Asia.

During the conversation, Mr. Modi thanked the UAE President for ensuring the safety and well-being of the large Indian community living in the Gulf country. Millions of Indians work and reside in the UAE, contributing to its development and economy.
