Government Working to Free Stranded Indians Abroad

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju has said that the Central government is taking quick steps to rescue Indian citizens stranded due to the ongoing Israel-Iran conflict. He said the government, under the leadership of Narendra Modi, is working actively to ensure their safe return.

Speaking to reporters in Kangra, Himachal Pradesh, Mr. Rijiju said that the government is closely monitoring the situation in the conflict region. He added that all necessary arrangements are being made to help Indians who are facing difficulties abroad.

The Minister explained that the rescue and support efforts are being coordinated by the Ministry of External Affairs through Indian embassies and missions in different countries. These missions are in regular contact with stranded citizens and are providing updates and assistance.

Mr. Rijiju also said that the current government is offering comprehensive support, including evacuation planning, emergency communication, and coordination with local authorities. He stated that such large-scale and organised assistance was not provided by previous governments.

He assured families of those stranded that the government’s top priority is the safety and well-being of every Indian citizen. Officials continue to assess the ground situation and take necessary steps for a safe and smooth evacuation process.
