CBSE Class 10 Second Board Exam 2026: Everything You Need to Know

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has introduced a new system for Class 10 students in India. This system, known as the two-board examination, was suggested by the National Education Policy 2020. It allows students to take their exams twice and choose the best scores from each attempt.

The second board exam for Class 10 will be held in May 2026. Students can now improve their marks in up to three subjects they feel they need to do better in. This is a great chance for students who want to enhance their performance or correct mistakes from their first exam.

To participate, schools need to submit a list of candidates (LOC) online. The submission process has started, and the deadline is important. Schools must make sure all students and parents know about this process.

The CBSE has given clear instructions for schools:
1. Ensure that every student knows about the LOC submission and deadlines.
2. Help students understand how to choose subjects they want to improve in.
3. Make sure fees are paid on time without any issues.

This new system aims to reduce stress and give students more chances to succeed. Schools should guide their students carefully to make the most of this opportunity. The second board exam is a big step forward for education in India, offering students flexibility and better outcomes.
