18 MoUs Signed at ICON 2024 Organised by Stella Maris College
During the two-day Industry Connects program, ICON 2024, hosted by Stella Maris College (SMC) in Chennai, a total of eighteen Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) were signed between the college and various companies to facilitate long-term partnerships. With participation from 42 companies across different sectors, the event served as a platform for students from SMC and other colleges in the city to engage with industry professionals.
Stella Mary, the principal (in charge) of SMC, emphasized the institution’s commitment to fostering collaboration between academia and industry to drive innovation and academic excellence. As part of the program, Planet Pitch, an inter-collegiate competition, was organized to enable students to present entrepreneurial ideas aligned with the United Nations’ sustainable development goals.
The winning teams will receive mentorship from the Confederation of Indian Industry – Young Indians, further enhancing their entrepreneurial skills and prospects.
