5 held by Bengaluru police foils terror plot

Bengaluru police have successfully thwarted a terror plot by apprehending five individuals and seizing weapons from them. Police Commissioner B. Dayananda stated that the Bengaluru City Crime Branch acted on credible intelligence to prevent a potential subversive activity.

The five accused have been arrested, and the authorities have recovered seven country-made pistols, 45 live rounds, walkie-talkie sets, a dragger, and 12 mobile phones from them. During the preliminary interrogation, it was revealed that these suspects, along with another accused who is currently abroad and evading capture, were also involved in a murder case in RT Nagar, Bengaluru.
