Again water level increased in the Yamuna River

The water level in the Yamuna River has once again surpassed the danger mark, reaching 205.35 meters, as recorded at 7 AM on Wednesday morning. An hour later, the water level slightly receded to 205.48 meters. The danger level for the Yamuna is 205.33 meters, indicating that the river is flowing 15 centimeters above the hazardous level.

Officials are closely monitoring the situation and anticipate further volume increase due to ongoing rains in the hilly regions. On Tuesday night at 8 PM, the water level was recorded at 205.3 meters, just below the danger level, but continuous rainfall in the hilly areas led to the rise above the danger mark on Wednesday morning.
