AIADMK Plans State-Level Agitation Against Deteriorating Law and Order in Tamil Nadu

The AIADMK is gearing up for a state-level agitation to address the deteriorating law and order situation in Tamil Nadu under the current DMK government. Party leader Edappadi K. Palaniswami (EPS) has held meetings with senior leaders to organize a mass program across the state to shed light on the worsening law and order situation since the DMK assumed power.

EPS has criticized the government for various incidents, including the assault on a police officer by students in Perambur and a foreign prisoner assaulting a prison official. The AIADMK intends to highlight the rise in gang wars, caste-based conflicts, and murders in Southern Tamil Nadu, as well as the state’s drug-related issues, with substances circulating among school students. Party leaders are concerned that the police seem to be turning a blind eye to these problems, and they plan to stage a major statewide agitation against this growing menace.
