Around 3.3 lakh books will be in Kalaignar Central Library during the inauguration on July 15

Tamil Nadu’s Madurai is set to witness the inauguration of the Kalaignar Central Library on July 15 by Chief Minister M.K. Stalin. The library, built in memory of the late Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi, will be a prestigious institution housing approximately 3.3 lakh books.

It aims to become an iconic landmark in Madurai, similar to the renowned Anna Central Library in Chennai. The library is dedicated to honoring the legacy of M. Karunanidhi, who was not only a revered Chief Minister but also a prolific writer and author.
