Asaduddin Owaisi Backs YSRCP Chief Jagan Mohan Reddy, Pledges Support for Reservations

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi threw his weight behind Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and YSRCP president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, pledging to protect reservations and the Constitution. Speaking at a public meeting, Owaisi expressed confidence that Jagan Mohan Reddy would continue reservations in Andhra Pradesh and work to safeguard the Constitution.

He criticized TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, questioning whether Naidu, given his alliance with the BJP, would oppose Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s stance against reservations for Muslims. AIMIM has been supportive of the YSRCP, and Owaisi has previously expressed his support for Reddy while opposing Naidu.
