BJP Accuses TMC of Hindering Ram Temple Celebrations in West Bengal
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in West Bengal accused the Trinamool Congress (TMC) government of attempting to dissuade people from participating in the celebrations of the Ram temple inauguration by organizing an “all-faith” rally. Dilip Ghosh, former State BJP president and MP, criticized the TMC’s ‘Sampriti (harmony) Rally’ as an attempt to mislead people.
The TMC countered, stating that its rally had nothing to do with the Ram temple inauguration and accused the BJP of politicizing the religious event. The Ram temple consecration ceremony in Ayodhya is scheduled for January 22, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi leading the rituals.
