Childcare Worker’s Nose Chopped Off in Karnataka: Shocking Attack over Flower Plucking Incident

In a shocking incident in Karnataka’s Belagavi district, a childcare centre worker, Sugandha More, had her nose chopped off by an enraged garden owner, Kalyani More, after children from a government-run Anganwadi childcare centre plucked flowers without permission. The brutal attack occurred in Basurte village, leaving the 50-year-old victim in critical condition.

Kalyani More verbally abused Sugandha and assaulted her with a sickle, resulting in the severe injury. The victim is currently fighting for her life as the blood from the attack entered her lungs. The incident, which transpired on January 1, recently came to light, and while the Kakathi police have registered the case, the accused is yet to be apprehended.
