Collision of Air Canada Planes on Vancouver Airport Tarmac

In an unfortunate incident, two Air Canada planes collided on the tarmac at Vancouver International Airport. The mishap occurred as an Air Canada Rouge Airbus A319’s wingtip made contact with the wing of a Jazz Air Canada Express Q400 while the former was being pushed back from the gate. Fortunately, no passengers or ground staff were injured, and alternative flight arrangements are being made for affected travelers.

Although the Q400 faced a three-hour delay, it is still scheduled to depart on the same day. Passengers on the A319 have been rebooked onto different flights, ensuring their travel plans continue despite the unexpected collision.
