Dispute Over Obituary Poster Leads to Assault, Arrest

A dispute over pasting an obituary poster on a public wall escalated into violence in Otteri, Chennai. M. Vinoth, 39, was assaulted by Dhanush, 19, during a quarrel on Wednesday morning.

Vinoth sustained injuries and was promptly taken to a nearby hospital. Following Vinoth’s complaint, Secretariat Colony Police arrested Dhanush, who has been remanded to judicial custody.
