DMK Continues Fight for NEET Exemption, Says CM Stalin

Chief Minister M.K. Stalin reaffirmed the DMK’s unwavering commitment to securing an exemption for Tamil Nadu from the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) for medical admissions. Speaking at a wedding event in a DMK functionary’s family, Stalin highlighted the party’s extensive efforts, including protests led by its youth, student, and medical wings against the examination.

Stalin mentioned that despite the Assembly’s resolution for exemption gathering dust under Governor R.N. Ravi’s inaction, the DMK government resubmitted the resolution, which now awaits approval from the President. He criticized the Governor’s stance and condemned the NEET test, reiterating the party’s determination to fight for the state’s exemption from it.
