FIR Registered for Morphed Video Targeting Congress Female Workers in Karnataka

The Karnataka Police have taken cognizance of a disturbing incident involving the morphing of a video depicting Congress’ female workers celebrating inside a state-owned bus. Ayesha Sanadi, a senior party worker, filed a complaint at the CEN police station in Belagavi, leading to the registration of an FIR under Section 67 (A) of the Information and Technology Act.

The original video captured Congress workers joyfully dancing to mark the inauguration of the Shakti Scheme, enabling free bus travel, five months ago. Unfortunately, miscreants manipulated the video by incorporating scenes from a Kannada movie to create an obscene narrative, casting the Congress workers in a negative light. The aggrieved workers are expressing dissatisfaction with the perceived lack of seriousness by the police in addressing the matter.
