Former IndiGo Employee Arrested for Job Scam in Delhi

Delhi Police have apprehended Ishu Verma, also known as Rahul Saxena, a former IndiGo employee, for allegedly duping individuals by promising them jobs with the airline. Verma, who worked as a Body Mass Index (BMI) Officer with IndiGo, reportedly provided fake appointment letters to victims. The arrest followed a complaint filed on December 31, 2023.

The accused posed as Ayan Malik and Sanjay Bangar during the scam, contacting job seekers and offering positions. The victims paid substantial amounts, only to discover that the provided joining letters were counterfeit. The police are investigating the entire syndicate involved in the fraudulent scheme.
