Goa Police Register FIRs Against Two More in International Sex Trafficking Racket

Goa Police have filed FIRs against two additional individuals in connection with an international sex trafficking operation that was uncovered last week. According to DSP Jivba Dalvi, the FIRs were filed by the Anjuna Police. One of the accused, Maria Dorcus, a Kenyan national, was found to be residing without a valid passport and visa during the raids.

As a result, FIRs were registered against her under various sections of the Foreigners Order Act, Passport Rules, and Passport Act. She has been arrested. The owner of the resort where she was staying, Sebastian Albuquerque from Vagator, was also booked for failing to fill out a mandatory ‘C form’ for the accused woman.

This violation resulted in an FIR under the Foreigners Act. The international sex trafficking racket was exposed on September 8, with the rescue of five women and the arrest of two Kenyan nationals, thanks to the joint efforts of Anjuna Police and the NGO ARZ.
