Haryana Police Take Action After Communal Riots in Nuh and Gurugram

In response to the communal riots that erupted in Nuh and Gurugram districts, the Haryana Police have taken swift action, filing 44 FIRs and arresting 139 culprits as part of their investigation. The tense situation in both districts has prompted the deployment of a significant number of police and central forces to maintain control. The police are actively pursuing those responsible for instigating and spreading violence during the clashes that occurred on July 31.

Among the arrested individuals, 23 were apprehended on Wednesday night in connection with the Nuh riots. To ensure a thorough investigation, 10 special investigation teams (SITs) will be established to probe the registered cases in Nuh, with each SIT assigned to investigate five FIRs. Additionally, these teams will scrutinize the provocative videos posted by cow vigilantes, including Monu Manesar, who is currently on the run along with other vigilantes accused of inciting the Nuh mobs.

In an effort to maintain law and order, senior officers have been deployed in Nuh, and the police have been given strict instructions to deal with anyone violating administration orders. A search operation is underway to apprehend the absconding individuals and bring them to justice.
