IDF Discovers Weapons and Explosives, Including UNRWA-Branded Bags, in Gaza Operation

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) revealed on Monday that soldiers unearthed a cache of explosives and weapons, some concealed in bags bearing the logo of the UN Relief Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), inside a house in northern Gaza. The discovery was made during a raid by troops from the 460th Armored Brigade in the Jabaliya area.

Additionally, the IDF reported finding a truck loaded with long-range rockets near a school in the vicinity. In separate incidents, the Bislamach Brigade and Border Defense Corps’ 636th Combat Intelligence Collection unit identified armed Hamas operatives in Gaza City’s Shejaiya, leading to a drone strike.

The 7th Armored Brigade targeted gunmen leaving a health clinic, and the 551st Brigade uncovered a rocket launching site in Jabaliya with around 50 launchers, some loaded. These findings underscore the ongoing security challenges faced by the IDF in the region.
