Several central and south Karnataka districts, including Chitradurga, Chamarajanagar, Hassan, Chikkaballapura, Kodagu, Kolar, Mandya, Mysuru, Ramanagara, Shivamogga, Tumkur, and both Bengaluru Urban and Rural districts, are also on alert for rainfall. Bengaluru, the state capital, has already experienced heavy rain, causing damage in some low-lying areas.
