Income Tax Department Conducts Raids at Over 15 Locations in Bengaluru

The Income Tax Department initiated simultaneous raids at more than 15 locations across Bengaluru, targeting individuals including industrialists and gold merchants.

Officers from the Chennai and Mumbai offices arrived in the city to conduct the raids, which were focused on areas like Vijaynagar, Hulimavu, upscale Sadashivanagar, and Sankey Tank localities. Additionally, a female dentist’s residence was also subject to the ongoing investigation. The raids come amid suspicions of tax evasion by some of the individuals and businesses involved.
