India Mourns Death of Colonel Kale (Retd) in Gaza Attack
India expressed deep sorrow over the death of Colonel Waibhav Anil Kale (Retd), who was working with the U.N. in Gaza. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) stated that India’s Permanent Mission to the U.N. in New York, as well as its missions in Tel Aviv and Ramallah, are providing all necessary assistance for repatriating Colonel Kale’s mortal remains to India.
Colonel Kale was killed when the vehicle he was traveling in came under attack in Gaza’s Rafah region on Monday. The MEA extended heartfelt condolences to Colonel Kale’s family and loved ones, affirming that they are in constant touch with relevant authorities regarding the investigation into the incident.
