Iran Warns of Closing Strait of Hormuz Amid US Blockade

The United States has recently allowed some countries to buy Russian oil at sea for about one month. This move is aimed at controlling global oil prices during ongoing tensions involving the United States, Israel, and Iran.

At the same time, Iran has warned that it may close the Strait of Hormuz if the U.S. continues its blockade on Iranian ports. This strait is very important because a large amount of the world’s oil passes through it.

Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said that the strait may not remain open under current conditions. He warned that ships may need approval from Iran to pass through the route if tensions continue.

This situation shows that the conflict is affecting global energy supply and trade. Any disruption in the Strait of Hormuz could lead to higher oil prices and impact many countries around the world.

Overall, while the U.S. is trying to manage oil prices, Iran’s warning adds uncertainty, and the situation remains tense.
