IRB Constable Arrested for Stalking and Outraging Modesty of Woman in Goa

An Indian Reserve Battalion (IRB) constable, identified as Suraj Shailendra Saxena, was arrested in Goa for allegedly stalking and outraging the modesty of a woman. The victim filed a complaint with the Mapusa police station, stating that on September 1, Saxena and his friend Babit Naik had stalked her and verbally abused her and her husband.

The constable also allegedly threatened the complainant and her husband. The police took the complaint seriously and arrested Saxena after the victim provided video evidence of the incident. Saxena was produced before a court in Mapusa, which subsequently remanded him to police custody.
