Israel-Iran Conflict Escalates as Trump Warns of Naval Action
Donald Trump has said that any Iranian boats coming close to the American naval blockade near Iran’s ports will be destroyed. His statement came even as many countries around the world are asking for a ceasefire and for peace talks to begin again. The blockade started on April 13, 2026, at 2 PM GMT, and it applies to all ships entering or leaving ports in Iran.
At the same time, J. D. Vance said that the United States has already made its position clear during talks with Iran. He said it is now up to Iran to take the next step to reduce tensions. Vance recently led a team of officials to Pakistan, where they met Iranian representatives over the weekend. However, the meeting did not result in any agreement to stop the ongoing five-week conflict involving the U.S. and Israel against Iran.
The situation in the Middle East remains tense, with no clear sign of peace talks succeeding soon. Many countries continue to urge both sides to avoid further violence and find a peaceful solution.
In a separate issue, Trump also removed a post from social media after it caused strong criticism. The post showed an image that appeared to present him as Jesus, which upset many religious leaders. They called the post disrespectful and inappropriate. Some conservative Christian supporters, who are usually part of Trump’s strong support base, also reacted negatively. After facing this backlash, the post was taken down.
