Israeli Airstrikes Target Syrian Military in Dara’a
In a recent escalation of tensions in the region, at least eight Syrian soldiers lost their lives, and seven were wounded during Israeli airstrikes on Wednesday. The strikes, which took place in the early hours, specifically targeted Syrian military positions in the countryside of the southern province of Dara’a, as reported by the state-run SANA News Agency.
The Israeli military confirmed the airstrikes, explaining they were in response to rocket attacks originating from Syria. Last week, Israel alleged that Syria had been involved in supporting attacks against them. This situation has prompted Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant to issue a stern warning to both Hezbollah and Syria, emphasizing the potential consequences of external attacks on Israel. The conflict in the region remains a matter of concern for international security.
