Kerala Opposition to Present Charge Sheet Amidst Government’s Outreach

The Congress-led opposition in Kerala is gearing up to present a charge sheet against Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s governance as the state government conducts outreach programs to showcase their achievements in all 140 Assembly constituencies. Leader of Opposition V.D. Satheesan accused the state of financial mismanagement, citing soaring prices, increased taxes on utility services, and alleged leniency towards gold merchants and bar owners.

Satheesan criticized the GST compensation narrative, asserting that it ended in 2022, and accused Vijayan of misleading the public. He labeled the upcoming program where Vijayan and his cabinet visit all constituencies as an election propaganda for the 2024 Lok Sabha polls and criticized using public funds for the campaign.
