Labourer stabbed the former for not sharing the beedi

A tragic incident occurred in Delhi’s Shahbad Dairy area, where a man was stabbed to death by a labourer after refusing to share a beedi. The victim, identified as Sanjay Mishra, aged 35, resided in Shahbad Dairy.

The incident took place on Tuesday around 9 a.m., and the police received a call from Suman, a Civil Defence Volunteer, who, along with his friend Sudhir, discovered the body with stab injuries in a jungle near Sanskriti Apartment, close to Mahadev Chowk.

The deceased’s refusal to share a beedi with the labourer reportedly led to the fatal confrontation. Authorities are conducting further investigation into the matter, and legal proceedings are expected to follow to bring the perpetrator to justice. The incident has left the community in shock and highlights the need for vigilance in public spaces to prevent such tragic incidents from occurring in the future.
