Lok Sabha Adjourned as Resignations of Two MPs Accepted

The Lok Sabha witnessed disruption and adjournment after Speaker Om Birla announced that the resignations of Sarguja MP Renuka Singh Saruta and Alwar MP Balaknath have been accepted. As the House convened for Question Hour, opposition members raised slogans protesting the Ethics Committee’s report on the ‘cash-for-query’ case against Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra.

The Speaker urged members to address the issue during the scheduled discussion, leading to the adjournment until noon. Earlier, Mahua Moitra cryptically mentioned, “Maa Durga aa gayi hai, ab dekhenge” (Mother Durga has come, now we will see) in reference to unfolding political dynamics.
