Major Ganja Haul Seized in Sangareddy

In a significant operation, the Task Force police intercepted two vehicles at Pothireddypally Chowrasta in Sangareddy, seizing a total of 190 kgs of dry ganja worth approximately ₹1 crore. Five individuals were apprehended in connection with the illegal transportation of the contraband. The haul, consisting of 150 kgs found in one car and 40 kgs in another, revealed a smuggling operation from the Vishakapatnam Agency area to Mumbai.

The arrested individuals, including the owner and driver Raparthi Satish, confessed to their involvement in the illicit ganja trade for several years, with plans to distribute the drugs in Maharashtra and Karnataka. The successful operation was credited to the diligent efforts of Task Force officers, led by Inspectors Sivalingam and Mahesh Goud, alongside other dedicated personnel.
