Major Ganja Seizure in Madipakkam: Three History-Sheeters Arrested

In a significant operation, the police in Madipakkam apprehended three history-sheeters involved in ganja smuggling and seized a staggering 303 kg of the illicit substance along with two cars. Acting on a tip-off, the police intercepted two vehicles at the Kaiveli junction and discovered hidden ganja during vehicle inspections.

The arrested individuals were identified as Kishore Kumar alias Ranjan Kishore Kumar, K. Ashok, and M. Udayakumar. Kishore Kumar, known for his involvement in the murder of DMK functionary C. Selvam in Madipakkam, had been evading court hearings and faces eight pending criminal cases. Ashok, also known as ‘Othakan’ Ashok, has 16 criminal cases against him, while Udayakumar has 13 cases on record.
