Man Steals Bus With Passengers Onboard in Telangana, Gets Arrested

Telangana Police have arrested a man who stole a bus while passengers were still onboard. The incident occurred during a dinner break at Siddipet bus stop when the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) bus was en route from Sircilla to Jubilee Bus Station. The thief took advantage of the driver’s absence, boarded the bus, occupied the driver’s seat, and drove away.

He then collected fares from passengers, claiming the bus was bound for Hyderabad. Suspicion arose as he drove recklessly, and when the bus ran out of fuel at Jillella Crossroad in the Sircilla district, the thief fled before passengers could react. Police tracked and detained him based on passenger videos and TSRTC officials’ complaints. The thief’s identity has not yet been disclosed.
