Modern fish market work in Chintadripet will begin soon

The Greater Chennai Corporation has started the construction of a modern fish market in Chintadripet. The project, estimated to cost ₹2.19 crore, aims to create a state-of-the-art facility for the fish trade. The market will consist of 102 shops to accommodate fish vendors and traders.

Additionally, a parking lot capable of accommodating 75 vehicles will be constructed to facilitate easy access for customers. To ensure environmental sustainability, the market will also feature an effluent treatment plant. The project is expected to be completed within a span of six months, enhancing the infrastructure for the fish trade industry in Chennai.
