The Kerala state government has issued a notification stating that no other subjects will be taught during periods dedicated to physical training, arts, and games in schools. The government order instructs schools to strictly adhere to these directions.
Currently, each class has one period for physical training and music/arts in a week. However, the new order comes after complaints were received by the Child Rights Commission stating that other subjects were being taught during these designated periods.
With the new directive, schools are expected to prioritize and focus solely on physical training, arts, and games during these allocated periods.
