PM Modi Honors National Creators with Inaugural Awards

Prime Minister Narendra Modi marked a historic moment on March 8, 2024, by presenting the inaugural National Creators’ Awards at Bharat Mandapam. Recognizing excellence and impact across various domains, the awards celebrated creators like Pankhti Pandey for environmental advocacy, Keerthika Govindasamy for storytelling, and Maithili Thakur for cultural representation.

With categories spanning storytelling, social change advocacy, and environmental sustainability, the awards aimed to harness creativity for positive transformation. Over 1.5 lakh nominations were received, followed by a voting round garnering 10 lakh votes for digital creators. The ceremony saw 23 winners, including three international creators, honored across diverse categories, showcasing the power of creativity to drive change and inspire innovation.
