Rajnath Singh Pushes for High-Tech Warfare Innovation at Symposium
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh highlighted the urgent need for India to focus on advanced defence technologies during a recent speech. He called on industry leaders and academics to increase efforts in cutting-edge fields like artificial intelligence, quantum technology, directed energy weapons, and hypersonic systems.
Speaking at the North Tech Symposium in Prayagraj, Singh emphasized that future warfare will be shaped by rapid technological changes and surprise attacks. The event was organized by the Indian Army’s Northern and Central Commands, along with the Society of Indian Defence Manufacturers.
Singh stressed the importance of staying ahead in technology to ensure India’s security and preparedness for modern conflicts. He urged collaboration between the government, private sector, and educational institutions to drive innovation in defence.
