Ramadoss Votes, Expresses Pain Over Family Rift
In Villupuram, S. Ramadoss, aged 86, cast his postal vote from his farmhouse on Friday. Polling officials and a videographer were present to assist him during the process.
Speaking to reporters, Ramadoss shared his personal disappointment. He said he was hurt that Anbumani Ramadoss and other family members did not visit him when he was recently in the hospital.
He also made a strong remark, saying he felt that some in his family were waiting for his time to pass so they could take full control of the party. His comments showed concern about internal issues within the party.
Ramadoss added that he regrets not being able to keep a promise he had made earlier to the public—that his family members would not enter politics.
Overall, his statements highlight both his participation in the election process and the tensions within his family and political circle.
