Saurashtra Region in Gujarat Witnesses Six Cardiac-Related Deaths in a Day
The Saurashtra region in Gujarat was struck by a concerning wave of six cardiac-related deaths in a single day, raising alarms among medical professionals and the general public. Notably, three of the deceased individuals were young, aged 23 in Amreli, 24 in Jamnagar, and a 42-year-old farmer in Dwarka. These tragic events unfolded on Thursday and were dispersed across three districts. Amreli and Jamnagar each reported two fatalities, while Dwarka witnessed the loss of two farmers.
In Amreli, 23-year-old Dinesh Shiyal tragically passed away during Navratri festivities, and a 46-year-old rickshaw driver, Oghad Mindhava, suddenly succumbed while working. In Devbhoomi Dwarka district, two farmers, Kanjaria Velji Ranmal (42) and Ramji Damji Nakum (52), experienced fatal cardiac arrests, with preliminary reports indicating heart issues as the primary cause.
Nakum’s family confirmed the sudden cardiac arrest and noted that he had no prior history of ailments and was in good health at 52 years of age. In Jamnagar, 24-year-old Ravi Parbatbhai Luna suffered a cardiac arrest after reporting mild fever and chest pain. Local health authorities are now encouraging residents to prioritize heart health in light of these alarming incidents.
