Tension Erupts in Hapur Village as Youth is Beaten to Death After Minor Accident

Tension gripped Luhari village in Hapur as a 25-year-old Muslim youth, Irshad Mohammad, was beaten to death by an enraged mob after his motorbike accidentally hit a man participating in Dusshera celebrations. The minor accident escalated into a verbal altercation and then turned violent when a group of people attacked Irshad Mohammad, leading to him falling and hitting his head on a stone.

He was rushed to the local hospital but was declared dead on arrival. Following his death, irate family members and locals gathered at the scene, resulting in confrontations between the two groups. Bahadurgarh police had to intervene and use force to disperse the crowd.

Hapur Superintendent of Police, Abhishek Verma, confirmed that five individuals involved in beating Irshad had been identified and would be arrested. An FIR has been filed in the Bahadurgarh police station, and additional police forces have been deployed in Luhari village to prevent further disturbances.
