Tragedy Strikes Madhya Pradesh Food Factory: Five Dead from Toxic Gas Inhalation

A tragic incident unfolded in Madhya Pradesh’s Morena as five individuals lost their lives after inhaling toxic gas that leaked from a tank at the ‘Sakshi Food Product factory. The mishap occurred around 11 a.m., when toxic gas began emanating from the tank, prompting two laborers to enter and investigate.

Regrettably, they did not return. Subsequently, three more laborers entered the tank and were similarly affected. The workers, all employed at the factory, fell unconscious due to the poisonous gas exposure.

Despite prompt medical attention at a nearby hospital, they were declared dead. Additional laborers who potentially inhaled the toxic gas were admitted to the hospital for observation. The local police conducted a rescue operation at the scene, with Morena’s Superintendent of Police confirming the incident occurred within a cherry factory’s boiler. The deceased victims were identified as Ramesh Meena, Raju Meena, Mukesh Meena, Suresh Meena, and Chhotelal Meena.
