Tragic Deaths in Tank Cleaning Mishap at Tamilnadu Petroproducts Limited

Two contract employees lost their lives tragically after inhaling poisonous gas while cleaning a tank at Tamilnadu Petroproducts Limited (TPL) in Manali. The victims, identified as Deenadayalan and Panchnath Thakur, were involved in cleaning tanks used for storing the chemical benzene.

Despite efforts to rush them to the hospital, they were declared ‘brought dead’ by the doctor. The incident has prompted an investigation by the Manali police, with a case registered to determine the circumstances surrounding the fatal mishap.
