Vijay’s Roadshow Draws Crowds; Annamalai Supports NDA Candidates in Chennai
C. Joseph Vijay, the president of Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), is known for speaking very little, even before he entered politics. During his campaign roadshow on Monday in Tiruvallur and Chennai, he did not give long speeches. Instead, he connected with people through simple gestures.
Vijay greeted the crowds by waving, smiling, and sometimes whistling. He did not stop to speak much, but his presence alone excited his supporters.
The roadshow started in Ponneri, where he was campaigning for candidate M. S. Ravi. A huge crowd gathered to see him. People rushed towards his vehicle, trying to get closer. Some supporters even ran alongside his convoy as it moved slowly through the streets.
Many others stood on terraces, buses, and behind barricades just to catch a glimpse of him. The atmosphere was full of energy and excitement. People were shouting slogans, taking photos and videos on their phones, and cheering loudly as Vijay passed by.
Even without long speeches, Vijay managed to attract strong attention and a massive response from the public during his campaign.
